Welcome to Winchester City University. Our aim is to provide you with the education and tools needed for success, while also preparing you to lead a more purposeful and fulfilling life in today's increasingly chaotic world.
The Winchester City University’s mission in the field of education is inspired by a vision to build a learning environment dedicated to spiritual vitality, academic brilliance, and professional competence. Winchester City University strives to liberate students to explore, create, challenge, and become effective leaders versed in the messages of Jesus Christ. We empower our students by helping their visions and dreams grow through shared values, diversity, experience, respect, and faith. Winchester City Mission Winchester City University's academic programs and the educational experience span boundaries and vary widely in content. At the heart of the institution's educational and operational processes are fundamental goals and values that define a common experience that shapes the growth of every WCU student. The University has articled its mission, vision and values and through its strategic planning process, uses these statements of purpose and identity to evaluate and affirm Clarkson's ongoing direction and evolution to excellence. 

Our Mission

 Through an engagement with the liberal arts, The Winchester City University prepares its students for a humane and fulfilling personal and public life by cultivating independent thinking, open-mindedness, creative expression, and commitment to lifelong learning and social responsibility in a diverse world.

Winchester City University is an independent, nationally recognized technological university whose faculty of teacher-scholars aspires to offer superior instruction and engage in high-quality research and scholarship in engineering, business, science, health, and liberal arts. Our primary mission is to educate talented and motivated men and women to become successful professionals through quality per-collegiate, undergraduate, graduate, and professional continuing education programs, with particular emphasis on the undergraduate experience.
Our community and campus settings enhance the quality of student life and afford students access to and interaction with their faculty. We value the diversity of our University community, and we strive to attune ourselves and our programs to our global, pluralistic society. We share the belief that humane and environmentally sound economic and social development derive from the expansion, diffusion, and application of knowledge.

The Winchester City University educational experience is designed to provide talented and ambitious students with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve positions of leadership within their chosen profession. The combination of WCU’s strong technologically rich curricula and state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, coupled with an unparalleled commitment to a friendly learning environment and to students’ personal development, uniquely prepares WCU´s graduates to excel in their chosen professions and to lead rewarding and creative lives. In addition to attaining mastery of the core knowledge within his or her field, a WCU education is designed to enable students to:

Diversity at WCU

At Winchester City University we take pride in working very hard at becoming a fully inclusive and diverse campus. As firm believers in the immense benefits of our education, we strive to provide our students with the best resources at our disposal in order to equip them for a productive and happy future. This entails not only providing them with a first rate formal education assisted by a highly ranked faculty from diverse backgrounds and sensitive to their students' needs, but also striving to prepare them for their successful participation as members of society. Our students will excel in their respective fields of knowledge and as citizens who are responsible, compassionate and fair and who are prepared to actively participate in a world that is rich in diversity, where everyone can and should make a valued contribution regardless of any difference of any kind. Mission Statement
One major goal of Winchester City's institutional mission is to "stimulate in students an understanding of themselves and their relation to others in a diverse and ever changing world." Furthermore, we aim to "foster a campus community characterized by compassion, respect, ethical concern, and social responsibility." Given these two objectives and an enduring commitment to diversity, we affirm the following expectations: To face the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century, Winchester City continually seeks to foster diversity within the campus community. All members of the university community should develop an inclusive attitude that is grounded in acceptance of and respect for the dignity of all peoples. This affirmation recognizes that each person has unique gifts and talents that are to be embraced and celebrated, thereby strengthening and enriching our community. We also acknowledge and strive to understand societal power structures that influence the status of underrepresented groups. In our community we value the richness that comes from a range of individual differences, including dimensions of age, culture, education, ethnicity, exceptionalism, gender, geographic origin, language, politics, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.


Strategic Plan
At the heart of the WCU strategic plan are four goals, around which most of the content of this site is organized: Campus Culture: Advancing efforts to create an inclusive, accessible and welcoming culture on campus. Community Engagement: Cultivating mutually beneficial community-university partnerships that further the mission of WCU to serve the world and beyond, with an emphasis on historically and currently underserved communities. Education pipeline: Creating a successful pathway for first-generation and underrepresented students as they progress from undergraduate through graduate and professional school. Research: Serving as a national model for the creation of knowledge about and best practices for diversity and community engagement through innovative scholarship, teaching, policy development, programs and services. Truly a division-wide effort, this bold new plan guides the division's staff in the pursuit of their highest aspirations toward achieving academic diversity, campus diversity, and community engagement. Throughout the implementation of this 8 years plan, WCU will continue to foster a culture of excellence via its partnerships with WCU's academic colleges and schools, other university administrative divisions and units, and individuals and organizations across the countries where WCU operates it´s campuses.
