FRESHMAN ADMISSIONS
Every year, we are fortunate enough to receive applications from thousands of students who are smart, engaged, accomplished, diverse, and fun. These are students who have challenged themselves and those around them to make a difference in the world. They know that the Winchester City University is their next step toward something extraordinary—a place where they can lead, make discoveries, tackle issues, gain knowledge, and make lifelong friendships.
Our application process is designed to help us find these students. We don’t use formulas and there is no required minimum test score, GPA, or class rank. We read each application thoroughly, one by one. Students must be able to read and write English fluenty. In case English language is not the official language of your country, you will then be required to follow an intensive course between 6 to 8 months and the program of English language is taught at the university or its other centers. We focus first on academic excellence—courses, grades, and test scores. Beyond academics, we look for qualities such as leadership, concern for others and the community, and achievement in the arts, athletics, and other areas. We’re also seeking diversity in personal background and experience and your potential for contribution to the Wisconsin community. |
